Bates is excited to be working on the Renovation & Addition to Black Hog’s flag ship restaurant located at 118 N. Market Street. Walking into the restaurant, patrons will enjoy a fresh take on the industrial style they have grown to love in the dining room. The expansion has made space for a larger bar with more seating & a spacious carry-out area in the existing building, while moving & upgrading the kitchen into the addition at the back of the site. The most exciting feature of the addition for guests will be the rooftop terrace that will provide additional seating & the opportunity to look down into the new smokehouse. This project will be one of the first in downtown Frederick to utilize a vertical trellis to create green walls along the parking lot. The addition is approximately 1,985 SF.
