Overview

Bates Architects undertook a comprehensive renovation of the client’s residence, encompassing the kitchen, dining room, living room, and mudroom. This project was executed with the objective of realizing the client’s vision for expansive, interconnected living spaces. Central to this endeavor was the strategic relocation of the kitchen, a pivotal decision that facilitated the achievement of their desired spatial reconfiguration and enabled the creation of an environment conducive to hosting large gatherings. The successful realization of this project was predicated upon the client’s confidence in our expertise, which allowed for an iterative design process that surpassed the initial conceptual framework.
