Bates Architects Expands Staff


Bates Architects is pleased to announce that it has hired 3 new employees.

Ben Bates

Since graduating from The University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 2008, Ben has been working full time in the field of architecture with the exception of the two years he spent at The University of Maryland (2011-2013) earning his Masters in Architecture. He contributes in all aspects of design, project documentation and project management by utilizing his CAD and 3D modeling skills and by employing a focused and approachable technique to all phases of a project.

 

Nicholas Caro

Associate AIA

Originally from Columbia, South Carolina, Nicholas graduated from Clemson University in 2015 where he earned a Bachelor of Art degree in Architecture. He is currently working towards professional registration.

Nicholas joins the team at BA as an Architectural Intern. He will participate in all phases of the design and construction process including developing concepts, space planning, design development and detailing as well as construction documents and construction administration. He will additionally bring his experience in the development of REVIT documents and 3D modeling.

 

Holly Rycyk

Holly joins the team at BA as an Associate Interior Designer. Holly graduated from The George Washington University in 2017 with a Bachelor Degree of Fine Arts where she took related coursework in Healthcare design, Sustainability/LEED design, Lighting and Acoustics.

She will participate in all phases of the design and construction process including developing concepts, space planning, design development (finishes, furnishings, etc.), construction documents and construction administration. She will additionally bring her experience in the development of REVIT documents and 3D modeling.

In addition, Holly is working towards her NCIDQ certification and scheduled to take the IDFX Exam in 2018.

We are thrilled to have Ben, Nicholas and Holly join our BA team!
