Maryland National Golf Club Addition is Complete

The Maryland National Golf Club completed its addition to the clubhouse in May and is seeing a rise in the bookings of weddings and golf outings because of the new space. The clubhouse was originally designed by Marty Bates with his old firm in 2002.The two story addition expands the function and dining space as well as provides better amenities to service the golfer. The new wing blends well into the original scheme and expands upon the majestic views of the golf course and the mountains of the Middletown Valley. The clubhouse is roughly on the site of the original farm house which became Maryland National Golf Club. Bates Architects has incorporated into the design of the new parapet railing the original pattern for the farm house porch pickets. A sample of the original had been saved from the house before it was demolished
